Services explained here
- Attest documents at MOFA (attestation and Apostille)The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad and its camp/liaison offices attest Pakistani documents for use abroad. Regular attestation is free apart from revenue stamps; Apostille certification is a separate paid service (Rs 3,000–12,000 per document) that now requires online registration at apostille.mofa.gov.pk. Documents usually need prior verification by the issuing body (e.g. HEC, IBCC, NADRA).
- Child Registration Certificate (B-Form)The Child Registration Certificate (CRC), also called the B-Form, registers a child in NADRA's records. Both parents apply in person at a NADRA counter, such as at a Punjab e-Khidmat Markaz, with their CNICs and the child's birth certificate.
- Family Registration Certificate (FRC)The Family Registration Certificate (FRC) shows your family composition as recorded by NADRA, either by birth (parents and siblings) or by marriage (spouse and children). Get it at a NADRA counter such as at a Punjab e-Khidmat Markaz, online at id.nadra.gov.pk, or at a NADRA desk in a Pakistan mission abroad.
- Juvenile Card for children under 18The Juvenile Card is a chip-based NADRA identity document for children under 18. Apply at a NADRA counter, such as at a Punjab e-Khidmat Markaz, with the child's B-Form (CRC) and both parents present.
- NICOP for overseas PakistanisThe National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (Smart NICOP) is issued by NADRA to Pakistani citizens and dual nationals living abroad; a Smart NICOP holder can travel to Pakistan without a visa. Apply online at id.nadra.gov.pk or the Pak-ID app, at a NADRA desk in a Pakistan mission abroad, or at a NADRA counter in Pakistan such as at e-Khidmat Markaz.
- Pakistan Origin Card (POC)The Pakistan Origin Card (POC) is for eligible foreigners of Pakistani origin, giving them benefits to keep ties with Pakistan. POC applications are made online only through NADRA's Pak Identity system at id.nadra.gov.pk; Pakistan missions no longer process POC directly, though some offer help by appointment.
- Replace a lost passportIf your passport is lost, first lodge a report with the police, then apply for a new passport at a passport office (or Pakistan Mission abroad) with the police report. The fee is double the normal fee for a first loss and four times for a second loss; third-time losses need approval from DGI&P Islamabad.
- Get Protector of Emigrants clearance (protector stamp) for a foreign jobUnder the Emigration Ordinance 1979, every Pakistani going abroad on a work visa must get 'protected': the Protectorate of Emigrants countersigns the employment agreement and pastes a protector sticker on the passport. Workers hired through a licensed Overseas Employment Promoter (OEP) register through the OEP; directly employed workers apply themselves at a Protectorate office, or online, after getting the visa.
- Open a Roshan Digital Account (for overseas Pakistanis)The Roshan Digital Account is a State Bank of Pakistan initiative with commercial banks that lets Non-Resident Pakistanis open a bank account in Pakistan entirely online, without visiting a branch. You can hold foreign-currency and/or rupee accounts, make payments in Pakistan and invest (e.g. Naya Pakistan Certificates, stocks, fixed deposits), and the funds are fully repatriable.
- Succession Certificate / Letter of Administration (NADRA)Legal heirs of a deceased person can get a Succession Certificate (for movable property) or a Letter of Administration (for immovable property) from NADRA's Succession Facilitation Units, without going to court, in undisputed cases. After the application, NADRA verifies all heirs biometrically and publishes a public notice; if no objection is received within 14 days, the certificate is issued.
