Succession Certificate / Letter of Administration (NADRA)
وراثتی سرٹیفکیٹ / لیٹر آف ایڈمنسٹریشن (نادرا)
Legal heirs of a deceased person can get a Succession Certificate (for movable property) or a Letter of Administration (for immovable property) from NADRA's Succession Facilitation Units, without going to court, in undisputed cases. After the application, NADRA verifies all heirs biometrically and publishes a public notice; if no objection is received within 14 days, the certificate is issued.
کسی فوت شدہ شخص کے قانونی ورثاء غیر متنازع معاملات میں عدالت جائے بغیر نادرا کے سکسیشن فیسلیٹیشن یونٹس سے وراثتی سرٹیفکیٹ (منقولہ جائیداد کے لیے) یا لیٹر آف ایڈمنسٹریشن (غیر منقولہ جائیداد کے لیے) حاصل کر سکتے ہیں۔ درخواست کے بعد نادرا تمام ورثاء کی بائیو میٹرک تصدیق کرتا ہے اور عوامی نوٹس شائع کرتا ہے؛ 14 دن میں کوئی اعتراض نہ آئے تو سرٹیفکیٹ جاری کر دیا جاتا ہے۔

Good to know
- • Heirs living abroad can complete biometric verification at a Pakistan mission; the application must first be initiated in Pakistan. The Washington D.C. mission charges US$26 for succession biometric verification and needs the applicant's CNIC/NICOP and the application tracking ID.
