Pakistan OS is not a government website

Pakistan OS is an independent project. It is not run by, affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of Pakistan or any federal, provincial or local department. Department names, logos and website addresses are used only to point you to the official source.

You can't apply for anything, pay any fee or submit any document through Pakistan OS. Always do that on the official website or at the official office.

Check before you act

• Answers are written by AI from official government websites and service guides we have collected. AI can make mistakes, and official information can change after we collect it.
• Fees, documents, deadlines, office hours and procedures change often. Always confirm on the official page linked in the answer before you pay, travel or submit anything.
• Pakistan OS gives general information, not legal, tax, medical or immigration advice. For your specific situation, ask the department concerned or a qualified professional.
• If you notice something wrong, please tell us so we can fix it.

Emergencies

In an emergency, call the emergency services directly: 15 for police and 1122 for rescue and ambulance (where available). Don't wait for an answer from Pakistan OS. Helpline numbers are listed for convenience and may change.

Using Pakistan OS fairly

Please don't:

• use Pakistan OS for anything unlawful, or to harass or impersonate anyone;
• send automated or bulk requests, scrape the service, or try to get around rate limits or bot checks;
• try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• share other people's personal information in questions or shared chats.

We may limit or block access that breaks these rules.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe. You can delete your account at any time under Account → Security.

Shared chats

When you share a chat, anyone with the link can read it. Don't share chats that contain personal information. You're responsible for what you share.

Availability

Pakistan OS is free and provided as it is. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available, complete or error-free. When our AI is busy or its daily limit is reached, answers may be shown without an AI summary. We may change or stop features at any time.

Responsibility

As far as the law allows, Pakistan OS and its creator are not responsible for any loss caused by relying on information from the service, including missed deadlines, wrong fees or rejected applications. Official sources always take priority over Pakistan OS.

Links to other websites

Answers link to official government websites and other services we don't control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Pakistan OS after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
