LUMS admits undergraduates to its business, humanities and social sciences, science and engineering, and law schools through the LUMS online admissions portal. Every applicant needs one admission test: SAT, ACT or the LUMS Common Admission Test (LCAT); law applicants also need the HEC LAT. The application processing fee is PKR 11,500 for local applicants, and talented students with limited means can apply for full support through the National Outreach Programme (NOP).

Who can apply
- Applicants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for their chosen programme as stated in the LUMS Programme Finder; applications that do not meet them are not evaluated.
- One admission test is required for all undergraduate schools (SDSB, MGSHSS, SBASSE, SAHSOL): SAT, ACT or LCAT. There is no minimum SAT/ACT score.
- BA-LL.B (SAHSOL) applicants must also take the HEC Law Admission Test (LAT).
- Diploma (DAE) holders may apply with at least 70% marks and an IBCC equivalence certificate.
- Applicants may apply to any two schools through one application; offers are made for the highest preference the applicant qualifies for.
- Foreign nationals without Pakistani origin or documents apply under the Foreign Student Programme; dual nationals with Pakistani nationality apply through the regular application.

- • International applicants pay an application processing fee of USD 200.
- • Fall 2026 undergraduate cycle (most recent published): online application deadline 27 January 2026 (5:00 PM PKT); documents and fee deadline 28 January 2026; LCAT 15 February 2026; financial aid deadline 28 February 2026; last date to take SAT 14 March 2026 and ACT 11 April 2026; admission decisions 15 April to 31 July 2026.
- • As of the official pages checked, LUMS lists undergraduate 'Admissions Fall 2027 - Opening Soon!' and has not yet published Fall 2027 undergraduate deadlines. The April 2027 dates on the LUMS calendar are for graduate programmes.
- • National Outreach Programme (NOP): a scholarship programme for bright students with exceptional Matriculation and FA/FSc results; students who qualify as NOP scholars receive full financial assistance. For 2026-27, the NOP online application deadline was 10 March 2026 and the document deadline 13 March 2026. Apply via nop.lums.edu.pk; contact nop@lums.edu.pk or 042-35608000 Ext. 2179.
- • Application processing and test fees are non-refundable. Incomplete or late applications are not considered.
- • If you take the SAT/ACT more than once, report all attempts; the best score of a single attempt is considered.

One of SAT, ACT or the LUMS Common Admission Test (LCAT) for all undergraduate schools. Law (BA-LL.B) applicants also need the HEC LAT.

No, LUMS states there is no minimum SAT/ACT score requirement.
›What is the LUMS application fee?
PKR 11,500 for local applicants (USD 200 for international applicants), plus PKR 6,500 if you register for LCAT.
