Who can apply
- Domestic electricity consumers in Punjab with a valid CNIC
- Monthly consumption of up to 200 units, based on the June 2024 bill, in these categories: up to 50 units (lifeline), 51–100 units (lifeline), 0–100 units (protected or unprotected), 101–200 units (protected or unprotected)
- Sanctioned load up to 2 kW
- Registered on the CM Punjab Solar Panel Scheme portal or through SMS to 8800
- Not eligible: consumers involved in electricity theft, with defective meters, with multiple meters at one residence, or with more than 3 late payments in the last 12 months

The CM Special Monitoring Unit page says the registration campaign is complete, the Letter of Award has been issued and physical verification of successful applicants is in progress in all districts.
