Apni Chhat Apna Ghar is a Chief Minister Punjab programme that gives interest-free loans to low-income families who own a small plot (up to 5 marla urban or 10 marla rural) to build a house. Under the 'Apni Chhat Mehfooz Chhat' category, owners of an existing small house can borrow to repair a weak roof, add a room or add a storey. You apply online on acag.punjab.gov.pk.

اپنی چھت اپنا گھر وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب کا پروگرام ہے جس کے تحت کم آمدنی والے ایسے خاندانوں کو گھر بنانے کے لیے بلا سود قرض دیا جاتا ہے جن کے پاس چھوٹا پلاٹ (شہری علاقے میں 5 مرلہ یا دیہی علاقے میں 10 مرلہ تک) ہو۔ 'اپنی چھت محفوظ چھت' کے تحت پہلے سے موجود چھوٹے گھر کے مالک کمزور چھت کی مرمت، کمرے یا منزل کے اضافے کے لیے قرض لے سکتے ہیں۔ درخواست acag.punjab.gov.pk پر آن لائن دی جاتی ہے۔

• Apni Chhat Mehfooz Chhat, Category 01 (repair/strengthening of weak or dilapidated roofs, addition of a room): maximum loan PKR 500,000, tenure 9 years, disbursed in two instalments.
• Apni Chhat Mehfooz Chhat, Category 02 (construction of an additional storey/floor): maximum loan PKR 1,000,000, tenure 9 years, disbursed in two tranches (approval and lintel level).
• Early repayment rebate on the outstanding principal for full prepayment: 20% in years 1–3, 10% in years 4–6.
• The mobile number must be registered in the applicant's name; the OTP expires in 30 minutes.

›Can I correct my CNIC or mobile number after registering?
