The University of Peshawar offers more than 50 BS programmes and admits students once a year in the Fall semester. You apply online on the UoP admission portal, pay a Rs. 2,600 processing fee, and take the University's own admission test; merit is 20% SSC, 30% HSSC and 50% test score. LLB applicants must also pass the Law Admission Test (LAT).
جامعہ پشاور 50 سے زیادہ بی ایس پروگرام پیش کرتی ہے اور سال میں ایک بار فال سمسٹر میں داخلے دیتی ہے۔ درخواست یو او پی کے داخلہ پورٹل پر آن لائن دی جاتی ہے، 2,600 روپے پروسیسنگ فیس جمع ہوتی ہے اور یونیورسٹی کا اپنا داخلہ ٹیسٹ ہوتا ہے؛ میرٹ میں 20 فیصد میٹرک، 30 فیصد انٹر اور 50 فیصد ٹیسٹ کے نمبر شامل ہیں۔ ایل ایل بی کے امیدواروں کے لیے لا ایڈمیشن ٹیسٹ (LAT) پاس کرنا بھی لازمی ہے۔

Who can apply
- Intermediate (F.A/F.Sc) or equivalent with the minimum marks set for each programme; for most programmes listed in the Fall 2026 brochure this is at least 45% (some programmes add 20 marks for candidates with a relevant subject)
- Candidates appear in the admission-test group matching their Intermediate background: Arts and Humanities, Computer Science, Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical
- LLB: F.A/F.Sc or equivalent with at least 45% marks and qualifying marks in the Law Admission Test (LAT)
- Applicants whose HSSC result is awaited may be considered on first-year marks; such admission stays provisional until the result, and is lost if the candidate fails HSSC or does not meet the minimum eligibility
- Quota applicants must meet the general eligibility and show documentary evidence for the quota at the admission interview

Good to know
- • Fall 2026 main round: online applications opened 10 June 2026. The FAQ gave the last date as 20 July 2026; the brochure's admission schedule shows 27 July 2026. The admission test was held on Sunday 2 August 2026, the provisional merit list was due 6 August 2026 and the final merit list was uploaded 11 August 2026, with open-merit admissions on 12–13 August 2026.
- • Fall 2026 re-advertisement (limited seats, first come first serve): online applications 15–27 September 2026, with interview, document scrutiny and fee payment at the departments on 28 September 2026. For this round the brochure gives merit as 30% SSC and 70% HSSC. Dates for the next intake had not been published when checked.
- • Admission test: 50 multiple-choice questions, 50 marks, 60 minutes, one mark per correct answer and no negative marking, based on the Intermediate syllabus of your test group. Answers go on a bubble sheet with a blue or black pen.
- • Test result complaints can be emailed to helpdesk.oas@uop.edu.pk within the two days allowed. Revised DMCs and changes to programmes are not accepted after the closing date.
- • Semester fees differ by programme and fee scheme (regular, new programmes, non-subsidised); see the fee structure tables in the Fall 2026 BS brochure. The brochure lists the annual hostel fee as Rs. 55,000.
- • If fewer than 15 students are admitted to a programme, admission to that programme is cancelled. All admissions are provisional until documents are verified, and false information leads to disqualification.
- • The University's pages reviewed do not mention ETEA; undergraduate admission uses the University of Peshawar's own admission test (and LAT for LLB).
