Register with the KP Revenue Authority (KPRA)

Who can apply

• Individuals, Associations of Persons (AOP) and companies applying for sales tax registration with KPRA
• You need an NTN to use online registration (the portal registers taxpayers 'having NTN')

Documents you need

• Individual: applicant's CNIC and NTN copy
• AOP / Company: NTN of the AOP or company and CNIC and NTN copies of all directors / members
• Copy of paid electricity bill not more than 3 months old, installed at the business address (or an affidavit on stamp paper if there is no connection, the bill is shared, or the business generates its own electricity)
• One page of business letterhead pad (crossed)
• Bank account statement or account maintaining certificate (in the business name for AOP / company)
• Property documents of business premises: ownership, or rent / lease deed
• AOP: copy of partnership deed and Form-H
• Company: copy of SECP incorporation certificate, Form-21 and Form-29
• Authority letter, if an authorized person applies instead of the applicant

Steps

1. 1Open the KPRA portal (kpra.kp.gov.pk), click 'e-Registration' and then 'New e-Registration Having NTN'.کے پی آر اے پورٹل (kpra.kp.gov.pk) کھولیں، 'e-Registration' اور پھر 'New e-Registration Having NTN' پر کلک کریں۔
2. 2Enter your NTN and the captcha; the Taxpayer Registration Form opens pre-filled with your FBR particulars.اپنا این ٹی این اور کیپچا درج کریں؛ ٹیکس پیئر رجسٹریشن فارم آپ کی ایف بی آر معلومات کے ساتھ کھل جائے گا۔
3. 3Complete the Registry section, agent particulars, directors / shareholders, other activities, business branches and bank account, make the declaration and save.رجسٹری سیکشن، ایجنٹ کی تفصیل، ڈائریکٹرز/شیئر ہولڈرز، دیگر سرگرمیاں، کاروباری برانچیں اور بینک اکاؤنٹ مکمل کریں، ڈیکلریشن دیں اور فارم محفوظ کریں۔
4. 4Click 'Verify Application', enter your CNIC/NTN/passport, then click 'Submit Application'. 5. 5You receive an activation code and passcode by email/SMS. Use 'Enrolment Activation' on the portal to e-enroll and activate your account.آپ کو ای میل/ایس ایم ایس پر ایکٹیویشن کوڈ اور پاس کوڈ ملے گا۔ پورٹل پر 'Enrolment Activation' کے ذریعے ای-انرولمنٹ کر کے اپنا اکاؤنٹ فعال کریں۔
6. 6Track your application with 'Check status of Registration Application' on the portal.پورٹل پر 'Check status of Registration Application' کے ذریعے اپنی درخواست کی صورتحال دیکھیں۔

• • KPRA states that registration with KPRA is completely free.
• • If a person other than the applicant handles the registration, an authority letter is required.
