Ehsaas Naujawan Programme: interest-free business loans (KP)

Who can apply

• Age 18 to 35 years (both loan types)
• Young people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (funds are allocated to all KP districts by population)
• Applicant must not be a defaulter of any bank or financial institution, and must not be on the NACTA or UNSCR lists (declaration on the Akhuwat loan form)

Documents you need

• CNIC (copies; the Akhuwat form lists 2 copies)
• Utility bill
• Family member's name and CNIC number
• Bank account details (required for loans of Rs. 1 lakh or more, which are paid only into a bank account)
• Details of the business: type (trading, manufacturing, services, livestock, agriculture) and its address

Steps

1. 1Decide the loan size: up to Rs. 5 lakh (small business, Akhuwat) or Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 50 lakh (larger business, Bank of Khyber).قرض کی رقم طے کریں: 5 لاکھ روپے تک (چھوٹا کاروبار، اخوت) یا 10 لاکھ سے 50 لاکھ روپے تک (بڑا کاروبار، بینک آف خیبر)۔
2. 2Bank of Khyber loans: apply online at ehsaasnaujawan.bok.com.pk.بینک آف خیبر کے قرضے: ehsaasnaujawan.bok.com.pk پر آن لائن درخواست دیں۔
3. 3Akhuwat loans: go to the nearest Akhuwat branch in KP (branch list on kpyouthaffairs.gov.pk) and fill in the Ehsaas Naujawan loan form.اخوت کے قرضے: خیبرپختونخوا میں اخوت کی قریبی برانچ جائیں (برانچوں کی فہرست kpyouthaffairs.gov.pk پر) اور احساس نوجوان قرض فارم پُر کریں۔
4. 4Attach CNIC copies, a utility bill and your bank account details, and sign the declaration and undertaking about existing loans.شناختی کارڈ کی کاپیاں، یوٹیلٹی بل اور بینک اکاؤنٹ کی تفصیل لگائیں، اور موجودہ قرضوں سے متعلق حلف نامہ اور اقرار نامہ پر دستخط کریں۔
5. 5Repay in equal instalments after the grace period: Akhuwat 36 months after 1 month grace; Bank of Khyber 72 months after up to 20 months grace.رعایتی مدت کے بعد مساوی اقساط میں واپسی کریں: اخوت میں 1 ماہ رعایت کے بعد 36 ماہ؛ بینک آف خیبر میں زیادہ سے زیادہ 20 ماہ رعایت کے بعد 72 ماہ۔

• • Status (checked 2026-10-03): kpyouthaffairs.gov.pk still describes the programme and how to apply, and its latest beneficiary lists (Akhuwat and Bank of Khyber) are 'as on 30-04-2026'. No closing date is published.
• • All loans are completely interest-free (تمام قرضے مکمل طور پر سود سے پاک).
• • Small business: up to Rs. 5,00,000 through Akhuwat Islamic Microfinance; repayment in 36 equal monthly instalments (3 years) after a 1-month grace period.
• • Larger business: Rs. 10,00,000 to Rs. 50,00,000 through Bank of Khyber; repayment in 72 equal instalments (6 years) after a grace period of up to 20 months.
• • Akhuwat: loans of Rs. 1 lakh or more are transferred only to a bank account.
