In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa you first get a learner permit and, after its validity period, apply for a permanent licence and take the test. Applications for learner permits, permanent licences, renewals and duplicates can be made through the Dastak app, and qualified drivers receive an RFID driving licence card.

- 1Download the Dastak app and register with your CNIC and mobile number.دستک ایپ ڈاؤن لوڈ کریں اور اپنے شناختی کارڈ اور موبائل نمبر سے رجسٹر کریں۔

Good to know
- • The whole issuance process (application, fee payment, photo, fingerprints, learner permit, medical and driving test results) runs on automated systems; licence data is held centrally and licences are issued at regional headquarters and district level.
- • Qualified drivers are issued RFID driving licence cards.
- • Fees were not available on an official page we could read; check the amount in the Dastak app before paying.
