Apply for undergraduate admission at COMSATS University

Who can apply

• BS Computer Science, Software Engineering (Non-Engineering), Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Cyber Security: at least 50% marks in Intermediate (HSSC) with Mathematics, or at least 50% in Intermediate with Pre-Medical (or an IBCC-certified equivalent), plus a valid test score as per COMSATS policy
• BS Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical-Electronics): Intermediate/A-level Pre-Engineering (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry) with at least 60%, or DAE in the relevant field with at least 60%, or ICS (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science) with at least 60%; ICS students study Chemistry as a remedial course in the 1st semester; valid NTS score of at least 33% as per PEC policy
• BS Business Administration, Economics, Accounting & Finance, English, Media & Communication Studies and similar programmes: Intermediate or equivalent with at least 50% marks, plus a valid test score
• Pharm-D: Intermediate Pre-Medical or equivalent with at least 60% marks, plus a valid test score
• Bachelor of Architecture: Intermediate or equivalent with at least 60%, a valid NTS score and the departmental Creative Aptitude Test
• There is no age limit, and there is no self-finance quota; all admissions are on open merit
• Result-awaiting candidates can apply and get provisional admission, confirmed when the official pass result is submitted

Documents you need

• SSC (Matric) and HSSC (Intermediate) results; HSSC result-awaiting candidates submit their first-year marks
• Separate IBCC equivalence certificates for O-Level and A-Level (a combined equivalence is not accepted)
• NTS NAT result
• Photograph and documents uploaded on the online portal

Steps

1. 1Check the eligibility criteria for your programme on admissions.comsats.edu.pk.admissions.comsats.edu.pk پر اپنے پروگرام کی اہلیت کی شرائط دیکھیں۔
2. 2Take the NTS NAT test that matches your Intermediate group (e.g. NAT-IE for Pre-Engineering, NAT-IM for Pre-Medical, NAT-ICS for ICS). Register through the COMSATS portal (the NTS fee is added to your challan) or directly at nts.org.pk.اپنے انٹرمیڈیٹ گروپ کے مطابق این ٹی ایس NAT ٹیسٹ دیں (مثلاً پری انجینئرنگ کے لیے NAT-IE، پری میڈیکل کے لیے NAT-IM، آئی سی ایس کے لیے NAT-ICS)۔ کامسیٹس پورٹل کے ذریعے رجسٹریشن کریں (این ٹی ایس فیس آپ کے چالان میں شامل ہو جاتی ہے) یا براہ راست nts.org.pk پر۔
3. 3Sign up on the admissions portal and fill the online form: personal and address details, photo, education, NTS details, programme choices and document uploads.داخلہ پورٹل پر اکاؤنٹ بنائیں اور آن لائن فارم پُر کریں: ذاتی معلومات، پتہ، تصویر، تعلیم، این ٹی ایس کی تفصیل، پروگرام کا انتخاب اور دستاویزات اپ لوڈ کریں۔

Fees

Good to know

• • Merit formula for BS: Matric/SSC 10% + Inter/HSSC 40% + NTS NAT 50%. Architecture and Art & Design programmes have an interview and a different formula (e.g. Architecture: Matric 5% + Intermediate 10% + NTS 10% + Creative Aptitude Test 40% + Interview 35%).
• • An NTS NAT test is compulsory for BS admission. NAT scores are valid for 1 year, COMSATS counts your highest score among valid attempts, and a valid NTS test taken at any COMSATS campus is accepted at every other campus.
• • Fall 2026 (most recent cycle): admissions opened 31 May 2026. Closing dates on the admissions portal were Islamabad 10 July, Lahore 31 July, Abbottabad 10 August, Vehari 14 August, Sahiwal 24 August, Attock 27 August and Wah 5 September 2026 (the printed advertisement gave earlier dates, e.g. Islamabad 8 July 2026). Islamabad NTS test dates were 5, 18 and 19 July 2026; the Islamabad undergraduate merit list was due 28 July 2026; classes at all campuses began 7 September 2026.
• • Spring 2027 dates were not published on the pages read. The CUI Lahore campus FAQ says Spring admissions tentatively start in October/November, with classes in February.
• • The application processing fee is paid by bank challan, is non-refundable, and must be paid separately for each campus. The amount was not stated on the pages read. The NTS test fee is separate from the processing fee.
• • Fall 2026 fees are from the Treasurer's notification of 18 May 2026 (one-time admission fee plus per-semester registration and tuition fees). Fee rates are subject to revision in later semesters. Each additional semester is charged at Rs 6,000 per credit hour plus the registration fee, and a degree fee of Rs 10,000 is charged when the degree is awarded.
• • Pre-Medical students admitted to CS, SE or Physics must pass 6 credit hours of Mathematics deficiency courses in their first year.
• • You cannot apply with a supplementary in F.Sc Part-1; reapply in the next session with a complete pass.
