Apply for undergraduate admission at Bahria University

Who can apply

• BS Computer Science: at least 50% marks in Intermediate (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical or ICS), or A-Levels/equivalent with Mathematics certified by IBCC; Pre-Medical students take two deficiency Mathematics courses in the first year
• Bachelor of Software Engineering and other engineering programmes: Intermediate or equivalent with at least 60% marks (excluding NCC) in Pre-Engineering, or with Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science; Pre-Medical students may apply but must pass a deficiency course (MAT 101), and up to 40% of each engineering programme's intake may be Pre-Medical as per PEC policy
• Candidates must also qualify the university's entry test and meet other requirements such as the admission interview
• Quotas: 2% for disabled candidates, 2% sports (UG programmes except the Health Sciences campus), 2% for less developed regions, 5% for children of overseas Pakistanis, 5% for children of advocates in LLB, and 1% for Balochistan; quota applicants must still meet the programme's minimum criteria

• Two passport-size photographs
• SSC marks sheet and certificate
• HSSC marks sheet and certificate
• O/A-Level certificates and IBCC equivalence (if applicable)
• Roll number slip and an affidavit (for result-awaiting candidates)
• Originals plus two attested photocopy sets at the interview; scanned copies uploaded on the BU CMS portal beforehand

Steps

2. 2Log in, fill the online form step by step, and generate the fee voucher.لاگ اِن کریں، آن لائن فارم مرحلہ وار پُر کریں اور فیس واؤچر بنائیں۔
3. 3Print the voucher and pay the admissions processing fee at any Bank Alfalah or Allied Bank branch.واؤچر پرنٹ کریں اور داخلہ پروسیسنگ فیس بینک الفلاح یا الائیڈ بینک کی کسی بھی برانچ میں جمع کروائیں۔
4. 4Print your entry test admit slip and appear in the Bahria University Entry Test (BUET). Fees

Good to know

• • BUET (undergraduate): 100 MCQs, 100 marks, 120 minutes, four options per question, no negative marking. Management, Business, Media, Maritime, Humanities and LLB: 50% Verbal Ability, 15% Quantitative Reasoning, 15% Analytical Reasoning, 20% General Knowledge. Computer Sciences, Electrical, Computer and Software Engineering: 30% Verbal Ability, 15% Quantitative, 15% Analytical, 10% Physics, 30% Maths. BS Psychology, English and Islamic Studies: 50% English, 25% General Knowledge, 25% Verbal Reasoning.
• • Test exemption: applicants with a qualifying SAT (for engineering and non-engineering bachelor programmes), or who qualified BUET in the last one year, do not need to sit BUET. They must still register online and pay the registration fee. They may resit BUET to improve, and the best result is used for merit.
• • The amount of the admissions processing fee was not stated on the pages read.
• • Fall 2026 (most recent completed cycle), Karachi campus plan: admissions opened 16 March 2026 and closed 2 June 2026; BUET from 4 June 2026; regular classes began 31 August 2026. These dates have passed. Bahria's Islamabad Fall 2026 undergraduate plan was no longer shown on the 'Important Dates' page.
• • Spring 2027: the only admission plan published so far is for the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programme at the Health Sciences Campus Karachi: admissions open 15 September 2026, close 22 October 2026, BUET at BUKC from 24 October 2026, result 30 October 2026. Spring 2027 dates for other programmes were not published on the pages read.
• • Fees (Fall 2026 & Spring 2027) vary by programme and campus and are charged per credit hour plus miscellaneous charges each semester (Rs 11,000 to Rs 15,000 for most BS programmes). Bahria University reserves the right to change the fee structure at any time.
• • Interviews are not conducted without original documents. Bring your original CNIC, passport or B-Form to enter the campus.
• • Quota applicants (disabled, less developed regions, advocates' children) must send their requests with supporting documents to their campus admissions office at least one week before the closing date. No fee waiver applies on quota seats.
