The Prime Minister's Youth Business & Agriculture Loan Scheme (PMYB&ALS) gives business and agriculture loans to young Pakistanis on simple terms through 15 commercial, Islamic and SME banks. Resident Pakistanis aged 21–45 (18–45 for IT/e-commerce businesses) apply online only, choosing one of three tiers: up to Rs 0.5 million at 0% markup, up to Rs 1.5 million at 5%, or up to Rs 7.5 million at 7%.

Who can apply
- All Pakistani residents aged 21 to 45 years with entrepreneurial potential
- For IT / e-commerce businesses the lower age limit is 18 years
- Only resident Pakistanis; non-resident Pakistanis cannot apply
- Government employees are not eligible
- No general minimum education requirement, but businesses that legally need a qualification, licence or authorisation require the applicant to hold it
