NADRA can change or correct details on your CNIC, such as marital status, name or address, as a Simple or Smart card. Apply online in NADRA's PakID app by uploading documents that prove the change, or in person at any NADRA Registration Centre or e-Khidmat Markaz.
نادرا آپ کے شناختی کارڈ کی معلومات، جیسے ازدواجی حیثیت، نام یا پتہ، تبدیل یا درست کر سکتا ہے، سادہ یا اسمارٹ کارڈ کی صورت میں۔ نادرا کی PakID ایپ میں تبدیلی ثابت کرنے والے کاغذات اپ لوڈ کر کے آن لائن درخواست دیں، یا کسی بھی نادرا رجسٹریشن سینٹر یا ای خدمت مرکز پر جائیں۔

- 1Gather documents that prove the change you want (for marriage, your Nikah Nama).مطلوبہ تبدیلی کو ثابت کرنے والے کاغذات جمع کریں (شادی کی صورت میں نکاح نامہ)۔

Good to know
- • At e-Khidmat Markaz, the fee is paid in cash only at the NADRA counter.
- • At Punjab e-Khidmat Markaz, NADRA counters serve Monday to Saturday, 09:00 am to 04:00 pm, with a lunch/prayer break from 01:00 pm to 02:00 pm and a Friday Jummah break from 12:30 pm to 02:30 pm.
- • The CNIC is issued by NADRA; e-Khidmat Markaz hosts NADRA counters.
- • For a disability logo on the card, a disability certificate issued by the National/Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (N/PCRDP, or Social Welfare AJK/GB) is required.
- • Delivery of the card within Pakistan costs Rs 165 (NADRA fee structure).
- • CNICs for adults are valid for 10 years.
- • With the PakID app, the Normal, Urgent or Executive timeline starts after the fee is paid.

Simple CNIC: Rs. 400 (Normal), Rs. 1,150 (Urgent), Rs. 2,150 (Executive). Smart CNIC: Rs. 750 (Normal), Rs. 1,500 (Urgent), Rs. 2,500 (Executive).
›What do I need to update my marital status?
Your Nikah Nama and your husband present as a witness. If you are applying for the first time, a witness of your father, mother or brother (in person) is also needed.
